Flooded roads force closures in Naitasiri, Serua, Namosi and Navua

Several roads are currently closed due to flooding and authorities are urging motorists to exercise extreme caution and adhere to all road closures.

The Fiji Roads Authority says the affected roads include Navulokani Road at Waiwatu Crossing, Waisa Crossing, Nairukuruku Road at Waima Bridge and Vatulili Road at Waidradra Crossing in Naitasiri, Vunaniu Crossing in Serua, Waiyanitu Road and Vuninokonoko Road in Navua and Wainimakutu bridge in Namosi.

They say they are closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as needed.

Drivers are advised to report any road infrastructure damage to FRA by calling the toll-free number 5720 available on weekdays from 8am to 5pm or emailing info@fijiroads.org.
