Flood warnings in place for many areas in Viti Levu and Vanua Levu

A flood warning remains in force for all low lying areas, areas adjacent to and downstream of all rivers of Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki, Korovou, Waidina, Wainibuka, Wainimala, Waimanu, Rewa and Navua in Viti Levu, and Vanua Levu.

The Nadi Weather Office says a flash flood warning remains in force for all low lying areas and areas adjacent to small streams and creeks along Naboutini in Serua to Rewa, Rakiraki to Ba in Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

The water levels for Labasa, Dreketilailai, Navala and FSC in Ba, and Waimanu are above warning level.

A heavy rain warning is also in place for the whole of Fiji.

The next low tide is at 3.11pm today while high tide is at 9.17pm tonight.
