Flash flooding warning in place for Lautoka, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki and Korovou while Flash flooding alert remains for Sigatoka, Pacific Harbour, Navua and Suva

A flash flood warning is now in place for low lying and flood prone areas of Lautoka, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki and Korovou while a flash flood alert remains in place for low lying and flood prone areas from Sigatoka through to Pacific Harbour, to Navua up to Lobau and Suva.

The Nadi Weather Office says a heavy rain warning remains in force for Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Yasawa and Mamanuca Group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti Group.

A heavy rain alert remains in place for the rest of Fiji.

They say a trough of low pressure with associated clouds and rain is affecting the country.
