A flash flood alert is now in force for the Eastern half of Viti Levu from Serua to Namosi through Navua to Suva and Nausori to Tailevu, Naitasiri and Ra and the Northern Division.
The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain is expected to affect the eastern and northern parts of the country from tomorrow.
They say an easterly wind flow also prevails over the group.
Possible impacts include flooding in drainages, small streams, low water bridges, Irish Crossings, roads and properties in low-lying areas.
