Flash Flood Warning remains for parts of Vanua Levu and Taveuni

A Flash Flood Warning remains in force for low-lying and flood-prone areas in Labasa, Wailevu, Vunivesi, Savusavu, Bucaisau, Drawa, Nabalebale, Nakorotari, Nasekula, Batiri, Seaqaqa, Nasekawa in Vanua Levu and Taveuni.

A Flash Flood Alert also remains in force for the rest of Fiji.

The Nadi Weather Office says an active trough of low pressure lies slow moving over Fiji.

They say it is associated with cloud, showers and rain which is expected to affect the country until tomorrow.

Meanwhile, a Heavy Rain Warning remains in force for the Northern Division, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, while a Heavy Rain Alert remains in force for the rest of Fiji.

The Weather Office says the Northern Division, Lau and the Lomaiviti Group, will experience occasional to periods of heavy rain and few thunderstorms.

They add that the rest of Fiji will experience rain and thunderstorms.
