The search is continuing for a 31 year old male who went missing last night at Natovi Jetty in Tailevu.
Police say the man is from Narere was accompanying his friends on a fishing trip fell into the water and due to strong currents his friends were unable to rescue him.
The incident occurred at around 7pm whereby an immediate search was not successful.
A team of police divers have been dispatched to the Natovi Jetty and the search will continue today.
