The National Fire Authority is investigating a fire that completely destroyed a double storey house in Bangladesh Road in Nadi.
NFA managed to stop the fire from spreading to the nearby houses as the three‑flat double‑storey wooden and corrugated iron house was situated in a squatter settlement and the risk of fire spreading to other nearby homes was high as they were only metres apart.
The fire started at around 6pm yesterday and the NFA responded to it immediately.
