Five people have been killed in a fire at the site of the world's largest vaccine producer in western India.

The blaze started at a building which was still under construction at the Serum Institute.

The company said production of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine would not be affected.

The cause of the fire has not been identified.

There are more than 97 million COVID-19 cases and 2 million deaths from the virus.

In Fiji, there have been 55 cases in total since our first case was detected on March 19th last year.

The last 34 cases detected in Fiji have been in border quarantine.
