Finance Ministry to advice on disciplinary action
Recommendations will be submitted by the Finance Ministry on what course of action to be taken by the Public Service Commission in relation to the nine government vehicles seized over the weekend.

These vehicles were seized over the weekend in the Suva Nausori corridor for operating without approvals after hours.

Finance Permanent Secretary Filimoni Waqabaca said that they will submit the report along with the recommendations after they have collected sufficient information.

The joint operation between police and the military found five vehicles were from the western division and four were from the central division.

The seized vehicles were mainly from the Health, Trade and Primary Industries, and Education Ministries.
