Fiji’s imports, exports drop in April
Fiji’s total imported products decreased by $44.9 million while our total exports also decreased by $10.2 million in April this year compared to the same month last year.

Imports in April stood at $211.7 million while total exports were $103.2 million.

Imports from Australia were the highest for Fiji at $44.7 million due to imports of wheat while Singapore was next at $44.7 million.

But this is a significant reduction in import from Singapore as it decreased by $33.6 million due to decreased imports of diesel.

Imports from Thailand rose to $16.2 million mainly due to increased imports of sugar.
