Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka

Fijians in the Middle East are safe and we will continue to be part of the United Nations as long as the UN is there for peacekeeping duties.

This was highlighted by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka among rising tensions between Israel and Iran for the past few days.

Rabuka says the government has sent out advisories to the Fijian diaspora to keep them away from conflict zones, apart from uniformed personnel.

He stressed that territorial peacekeeping must be respected even though there have been violations over the years.
