Fijiana winger Uluinasau scores 2 tries to help Fiji defeat France 24-12 in Vancouver 7s

Reapi Uluinasau scored two tries to help the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side defeat France 24-12 in their second pool match at the Vancouver 7s.

Uluinasau showcased her class and scored her first try in the second minute of the first half and scored her second try in the fourth minute to extend Fiji’s lead to 12-0.

France came bouncing back seconds before the first half ended to score their first try to trail 5-12 at halftime.

In the second half, France scored the first try to level the points 12-12.

Fiji scored another 12 points in the second half to take a commanding lead and seal the victory.

The Fijiana lost their first pool match to Japan 19-14.

Fijiana will face Great Britain at 9.18am tomorrow in their last pool match.

The women's cup quarter-finals will kick off at 3.32pm Sunday, the semi-finals will begin at 9.14am Monday, and the cup final will kick off at 1.41pm.
