The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team made a winning start to their Sydney 7s campaign as they beat USA 19-14 in their first pool match.
The national 7s team were trailing twice in the match.
Fiji’s tries were scored by Luisa Tisolo, Alowesi Nakoci while Mereseini Leivere scored the winning try.
The halftime score was 7-all.
The Fijiana 7s team will take on Canada at 4.30pm today before meeting Brazil at 9.45am tomorrow in their last pool match.
