Fijiana 7s main objective is to be in the top 4 come May this year - Fuli

Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli says their main objective is to be in the top 4 come May this year.

Fuli says they have 5 tournaments on the chart and Hamilton and Sydney is another opportunity not to be missed for them.

He says this is another opportunity for them to push their intention to qualify for the Olympics. Fijiana 7s is pooled with New Zealand, Great Britain, and Papua New Guinea for the Hamilton 7s this week. They will take on Great Britain at 10.22am Saturday, then they will face New Zealand at 2.12pm Saturday, before taking on Papua New Guinea at 5.37pm Saturday.

The Women’s quarter finals will start at 8.30am Sunday, the semi finals will begin at 12.20pm Sunday, and the final will be played at 6.26pm Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s side will open their Hamilton 7s campaign against France at 8.32am Saturday, they will play Kenya at 12pm Saturday and face Cape Town 7s champions, Samoa at 3.06pm Saturday in their final pool match.

The Men’s quarter-finals will start at 9.58am Sunday, the semi-finals will begin at 1.48pm Sunday, and the final will be played at 6.56pm Sunday.
