Fijiana 7s continues dominance over Australia 7s in Mini 7s winning 28-19 in day 2

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team continued its dominance over the Australian Women’s 7s team at the Fiji Airways Mini International 7s tournament after defeating them 28-19 in their second round of matches today.

Former high school sprint queen Younis Bese, Vani Buleki, Aloesi and Maria Rokouisiga scored a try each and all converted by Lavena Cavuru.

In the first round of matches of day 2, Fijiana 7s defeated France 17-12 while the Black Ferns defeated Australia 10-7.

Fijiana will face the Black Ferns at 4pm while Australia to play France at 4.30pm today in the last round of matches.

The second leg of the Mini 7s tournament will be held at Churchill Park in Lautoka next Friday and Saturday.
