The new style of rugby that the Digicel Fiji 7s team displayed at the Gold Coast 7s last weekend is driving the media and commentators wild in Dubai.
Coach Alifereti Dere said that bringing back the flamboyant style of play is what he has always wanted to do and that will put Fiji back on the rugby 7s forefront.
Meanwhile, defending Dubai 7s champions coach Ben Ryan added that Fiji have shown that after beating New Zealand last week, they are still a side to look out for.
The team to meet Argentina, in the forwards captain Watisoni Votu, James Brown and Sainivalati Vunibola, Joeli Lutumailagi will be at wing, Osea Kolinisau at rover, Livai Ikanikoda at playmaker and Emosi Vucago at halfback.
Fiji’s first game against Argentina is at 7:04pm today.
At 10.46pm Fiji takes on United Arab Emirates.
On Saturday morning at 4.06am, Fiji takes on Samoa.
