The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua went down fighting against the Hurricanes 38-34 in a thriller this afternoon in round 2 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

The Drua played to the last minute as they hunted for their first win.

The Hurricanes started strong with a try to Du'Plessis Kirifi as they led 5-0, but the Drua responded through a try to Junior Ratuva.

Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula and Frank Lomani scored a try each in the first half to help the Drua lead the Hurricanes 22-19 at halftime.

The Hurricanes came on strong in the second half, however, two minutes into the second half, Isoa Nasilasila crossed over the try line to put the Drua ahead.

Hurricanes fly-half Harry Godfrey combined well with half-back Cam Roigard as they rallied the boys forward.
