Fijian Association of Pagopago and the people of American Samoa donates funds to Fiji Red Cross Society

The Fiji Red Cross Society has received a contribution of $59,980.47 from the Fijian Association of Pagopago and the people of American Samoa to assist people who have been affected by Tropical Cyclones Yasa and Ana.

Fiji Red Cross Society Director-General Ilisapeci Rokotunidau says the funds will assist them set up water tanks in identified communities so that women, girls, and children and those living with disabilities can easily access water.

To date, the Fiji Red Cross Society has distributed a total of 153 filtration system, 199 water bottles with toothpaste and toothbrush, 476 soap and constructed 125 soap holder to 61 schools in Vanua Levu.
