FijiFirst Party candidate Alex O'Connor granted bail

FijiFirst Party candidate and Assistant Minister for Health, Alex O'Connor has been granted bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.

O'Connor is charged with 3 counts of prohibition on use of State resources to campaign.

The Magistrate has granted O'Connor a $750 cash bail with two sureties and a stop departure was issued.

O'Connor is also ordered to surrender his passport and to also visit the nearest police station every last Friday of the month from 8am to 8pm.

The case has been adjourned to the 17th of February, 2023.
