Fiji won two gold medals yesterday in shooting at the Pacific Games.
Veteran shooter Glen Cable won gold for Fiji in the double barrel individual event while Fiji also won in the double barrel team event.
Meanwhile, Fiji swimmers improved their performance last night and won one silver and three bronze medals.
Fiji came second in the Women’s 4x200m freestyle relay.
Matelita Buadromo won two bronze medals for Fiji in the women’s 200m freestyle and 100m women’s breaststroke while Skye Eden won bronze in the Womens 200m freestyle.
Fiji is now placed fourth on the medal tally with two gold, one silver and seven bronze medals.
New Caledonia has extended its lead on the medal tally with 16 gold, 15 silver and four bronze while Tahiti is second with 14 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze and Papua New Guinea sits third with six gold, three silver and three bronze.
Meanwhile, the attraction of day four will be the Digicel Fiji 7s team that will take on Wallis and Futuna at 5.14pm in its first pool match.
Fiji will play Tahiti and Tokelau tomorrow with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final to be played on Friday.
