The Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team will play New Zealand in the semi-final of the Oceania Rugby Championship at 5.18 this afternoon.
The Fiji 7s team came through the pool stages unbeaten as they thrashed Niue 47-5, beat New Zealand 12-5, thumped Oceania 31-12 and beat hosts Australia 28-22.
To get to the semi-finals New Zealand thrashed Oceania 56-0, thumped Niue 56-0 and edged Australia 14-10.
The winner of the Fiji vs New Zealand game will face the winner of the Samoa vs PNG Olympic qualifier game at 10pm tonight in the Oceania 7s Championship final.
