Fiji to meet Samoa in Cup Quarterfinal

The Digicel Fiji 7s team will now face Samoa in the first cup quarterfinal of the South Africa 7s tonight.

This is after they topped pool A beating Australia 26-5, France 27-7 and Scotland 29-12.

Following the win over Australia, coach Ben Ryan said he thought they were a bit sluggish, maybe a little casual at the start.

Ryan said he told the team that they have already set a target which they should be working on.

Fiji will meet Samoa at 11.39 tonight in the first quarterfinal.

In the other cup quarterfinals tomorrow New Zealand meet Kenya at 12.01am, Argentina takes on France at 12.23am and South Africa meet Portugal at 12.45am.

The cup semifinals start at 3:49am tomorrow and the cup final will be at 6:30am.
