The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will meet Kenya in the second Cup Quarter final of the Sydney 7s at 12.57pm today.

Fiji beat Argentina 19-14 in their final pool game last night.

Savenaca Rawaca scored twice in the win.

Fiji continued their impressive pool stage record, their three wins yesterday ensured they now won 39 of their last 39 pool matches after victories.

The first Cup Quarterfinal will see New Zealand meet USA at 12.35pm, Fiji play Kenya at 12.57pm, England face Australia at 1.19pm while South Africa meet Argentina 1.41pm.

The semifinals start at 4.57pm and the final kicks off at 8.04 tonight.

Looking at some of the results last night, South Africa beat Kenya 26-19, England edged USA 17-14 while Australia and New Zealand drew 17-all in the last game yesterday.

Meanwhile World Rugby are investigating whether New Zealand had eight players on the field when they scored a last minute try to snatch a 17-all draw with Australia last night.

Video footage appears to show eight Kiwi players on the field in the lead‑up to Ardie Savea accepting an inside pass from captain Tim Mikkleson and scoring to level the score.

Australia are set to play England in the quarterfinals today, but World Rugby officials may ask for an explanation from New Zealand whose error could potentially see them lose all points for the match.

With eight players on the field, more than half of the New Zealand side touched the ball in the play which led to a try.

If points were stripped from the draw, Australia would top Pool A and take on the USA instead, with New Zealand taking on England.

It is unclear at this stage whether or not New Zealand's slip‑up will affect the bearing of the upcoming matches.

New Zealand defeated Canada 27‑12 and Portugal 40‑5 in their earlier pool matches.
