It will be a repeat of the USA 7's final when the Digicel Fiji 7's team meet South Africa in the quarterfinal of the Hong Kong 7's this afternoon at 4.18pm.
Last night the Fiji team moved into top gear thumping Kenya 40-nil in their last pool game after winning 29-14 against Russia in their second game.
Fiji in the game against Kenya led 26-nil at half-time with Joeli Lutumailagi, Jerry Burotu, David Batiratu and Emosi Vucago crossing the try-line.
In the second half, Vucago and Nikola Matawalu increased Fiji's lead for a 40-nil win against Kenya.
Manager, Talemo Waqa said that the players know this is a game which they have to show the 7's rugby world that they are in Hong Kong to win.
Waqa added that South Africa has also looked impressive in their pool game but that will not stop Fiji from putting up with their impressive performance.
Fiji Rugby Union Development Manager, Sale Sorovaki who was a guest on our sister radio station Viti FM's talkback show believes that the current team have the depth to win tonight.
In the opening quarterfinal game at 3.56pm New Zealand will take on Portugal, Fiji meet South Africa at 4.18pm, Samoa will play against Australia at 4.40pm and England meet Russia at 5.02pm.
Cup semi-finals start at 8.15pm while the cup final will be played at 10.47pm.
Results from last night, Samoa beat Scotland 31-14, England defeated USA 37-12, South Africa thrashed Wales 42-12 and Australia 21 - Argentina 14 and New Zealand beat France 19-7.
