Fiji team is committed to its cause - Kolinisau

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team captain, Osea Kolinisau says that the team is committed to its cause, to play outstanding rugby on the final day of the dubai 7's tonight.

Speaking to World Rugby, Kolinisau says that it is good that the team was tested in the 3 pool games that they played last night and early this morning and they managed to over come the obstacles and win all their three games to top their pool.

Fiji will meet France in the medal quarterfinals of the Dubai 7s after beating Argentina 22-19 in their last pool match this morning.

Argentina had a chance to qualify to the quarters if they win by 8 points but the national side maintained their defence to top Pool A.

The two sides were leveled 12 all at halftime with tries from Kitione Taliga and captain Osea Kolinisau while Setareki Bituniyata and Joeli Lutumailagi scored a try each in the second half.

Fiji finished on top in Pool A with Wales also going through as runners up.

Fiji will take on France at 8 tonight.

In other quarters, England will take on Scotland, New Zealand will face South Africa while Australia will take on Wales.

The Cup semis starts at 1.41am tomorrow while the Gold Medal match kicks off at 4.33am  tomorrow.
