The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will play Australia in the Cup semifinal of the Hong Kong 7s tonight.

Fiji advanced to the Cup semifinal after defeating Kenya 12-10 in a dramatic quarterfinal.

Australia defeated England 14-5.

Wing Savenaca Rawaca scored the winning try for Fiji in the final seconds of the match.

Rawaca powered down the left flank and touched down to level the scores while Captain Osea Kolinisau nailed the conversion to send Fiji through to the semifinals.

Kenya utilized the wet conditions to force Fiji to make mistakes throughout the game.

Fiji’s other try was scored by Kitione Taliga after Jerry Tuwai burst through two defenders before finding Taliga with an out-the-back offload.

Both teams were locked nil-all at halftime.

Playmaker Vatemo Ravouvou was taken off the field with a knee injury.

There is a possibility that Ravouvou would be ruled out of the tournament.

Fiji will clash with Australia in the Cup semifinal at 8.06 tonight.

The first Cup semifinal between New Zealand and South Africa will kick off at 7.44pm.

New Zealand thrashed Wales 19-7 while South Africa outclassed USA 28-0.

The Cup final will be played at 11pm tonight.
