The Fiji Airways Men’s National side will play Argentina at 11.58am today in the 5th place playoff of the LA 7s.
Fiji lost to Spain 21-19 in the cup quarter final yesterday while Ireland beat Argentina 24-14 in their quarter final.
In other quarters, France beat US 14-0 while Great Britain edged Australia 26-19.
The Fiji men’s team had won all their pool games defeating Great Britain 15-12, thrashing Canada 40-0 before edging France 14-10.
The men’s cup semi finals kick off at 10.08am with France taking on Ireland before Spain plays Great Britain at 10.30am.
The cup final will be held at 2.23 this afternoon.
The Fijiana will play Spain in the 11th place playoff at 8.32 this morning.
The Fijiana lost all their pool games going down 12-5 to Brazil, 19-7 to South Africa and then 38-7 to New Zealand.
