Fiji in brilliant form
Wing Vereniki Goneva became the first Fijian player to score four tries in the Rugby World Cup after the Flying Fijians beat Namibia 49-25 in a highly entertaining Rugby World Cup match yesterday.

The brave Namibians can hold their heads up high after producing a more than competitive performance, leading twice in the early stages of the match.

However Fiji’s attacking prowess was just too hot to handle in Rotorua.

Seremaia Bai added 19 points from his boot while former soldier Leone Nakarawa and Naipolioni Nalaga also added their names to Fiji's score sheet.

Goneva who was later named “man of the match” rampaged down the right-hand touch line for a first half hat trick alongside a lone effort from Nakarawa to make it 32-15 at halftime.

Coach, Samu Domoni Jnr said the forwards played well to allow the back line a lot of freedom in executing their game plan.
