Fiji has participated in world affairs like the first World War, and the second World War, Malayan emergency peacekeeping, and Fiji will continue to play its role as a small developing economy.
This has highlighted by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka as he spoke about the importance of Fiji’s active participation on the global stage in the United States of America.
Rabuka says Fiji values its contribution and knows the importance of its involvement in events such as the 61st Munich Security Conference.
He says Fiji’s engagement in world affairs since World War One shows the positive impact the nation has had over the years in building peace worldwide.
Rabuka reiterates Fiji will be ready to play its part in any part of the world when the need arises.
