Australian Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Richard Marles
Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles says Fiji has been conducting free and fair elections and they are really confident that is what they are about to see.
In a media session today, Marles says they look with interest and optimism whenever the Fijian elections happen.
He adds they are pleased to be offered to co-lead the Multi National Observer Group again.
Marles further says governments run elections and political parties participate in it and that happens everywhere in the world.
