The Fiji men’s football team drew nil-all against Tahiti in their second match of the 2023 Pacific Games.

It is a waiting game now for Fiji as they need Tahiti to score less than 10 goals against Northern Marianas to proceed to the semi finals.

Coach Robert Sherman says considering they were down to 10 men for most of the match, it is a good result.

This was a special match for captain Roy Krishna as he received a commemorative jersey for his 50th international match.

Tahiti takes on Northern Marianas at 8pm Friday.

Meanwhile, Fiji will take on the Solomon Islands at 4pm Friday.
