The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team faces a tough challenge at the HSBC SVNS Dubai 7s, after being drawn in a strong pool alongside Argentina, South Africa, and France.

Fiji will head into the tournament as the defending champions, having beaten Spain 19-5 in last year’s final.

This year’s competition format will have no quarterfinals, with only the top two teams from each pool advancing straight to the semifinals.

Australia heads Pool B, which also features Great Britain, New Zealand, and Spain.

Fiji’s first pool match is against Argentina at 9.10pm on November 29th, followed by South Africa at 12.16am and France at 4.12am on November 30th.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s have been drawn in Pool A with New Zealand, France, and the USA.

They will open their campaign against the USA at 7.20pm on November 29th, then face France at 9.59pm, and New Zealand at 1.27am on November 30th.

The Dubai 7s will be held from November 29th to December 1st.
