Fiji put up a brilliant effort in their second pool game of the Hong Kong 7s against France after a 26-12 win.
Waisea Nayacalevu opened the try scoring for Fiji before Sikeli Vuruna crossed over for his third try of the tournament.
Naval officer Nikola Matawalu was given a yellow card for a dangerous tackle but Fiji still managed to score with 6 men to Metuisela Talebula.
Talebula scored his second try after some scrappy play from France.
France scored a consolation try on the stroke of full time after Fiji lost their own lineout 5 meters from their own try line.
Fiji will play their last pool game against Australia at 10:42pm tonight.
The quarter finals will start at 3:12pm tomorrow, semi finals at 7:49pm with the final at 11pm.
