Fiji Teachers Union national elections begins today

The Fiji Teachers Union national elections will be held from 3pm to 5pm today and 9am to 3pm tomorrow at 22 polling venues around the country.

4,917 union members will have the opportunity to cast their votes.

The polling venues are listed on the Fijian Elections Office Facebook page.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says a total of 87 polling officials will be working in this election.

FTU members will be voting for six positions that includes President, Vice President, General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary, National Executive Member positions and Publicity Officers position.
