The Fiji Taxi Association will assist taxi drivers in mediation if they are receiving unrealistic targets from taxi owners.

Association General Secretary, Ashwin Lal says there is no policy or law in place to control targets but there is a mutual understanding and agreement between taxi owners and drivers on targets in this COVID-19 situation.

Lal urges drivers to reach out if the demand is more from operators.

He says drivers should also understand that owners spend a lot of money on their cars.
