Discussions were held between Police and locked out ATS workers yesterday regarding the occupation of the side of the road near the Air Terminal Services office.

Police Spokesperson Jokatama Qio confirms that Namaka Police had discussions with the ATS workers that are locked out.

ATS Employees Trust Secretary, Vili Finau says the Fiji Roads Authority had lodged a complaint about ATS workers causing congestion and traffic in the area.

Finau says they are demanding that the staff car park be opened to them as this will help solve the congestion issue which has been raised by the Fiji Roads Authority.

About 250 workers walked off their jobs on the 16th of this month causing a longstanding dispute that has now lasted for more than 10 days.
