Fiji Pearls still have hope, Samoa hopeful for a second place finish

The Fiji Pearls will need to win their last two games with maximum points at the Vodafone Oceania World Cup Qualifiers to be one of the teams to qualify for the Netball World Cup in Cape Town.

Fiji is currently sitting in third place in the overall standings with Tonga Tala leading and Samoa in second place.

Fiji will need to beat Samoa by 17 clear points, and then beat Cook Islands tomorrow by 19 clear points or more to move into second place.

Meanwhile the Fiji Pearls team is calling for fans to come out in numbers to back them tonight. The impressive Tonga Tala have secured 3 wins so far and is expected to book their World Cup spot after their game against Cook Islands today.

The Fiji Pearls will take on Samoa in a must-win game at 7.30 tonight at the Vodafone Arena with $5 entry fee for adults and $2 for children Under 12 years old.
