Fiji Men’s Netball beat England 47-36 in Nations Cup opener

The Crest Fiji Men's Netball Team have won their first game at the Men's Netball Nations Cup opener in Singapore beating England 47-36.

This is the Fiji Men's Netball team’s first international tour in over 20 years.

Heading into this tournament, Team Coach Jioweli Makare says they have not tested themselves with teams from other countries, so they are looking forward to this tournament to find out where they stand.

Makare says he will also be able to know as a coach if he is implementing the right strategy.

The games are being held at the Jurong East Sports Centre, Singapore.

The team will play New Zealand A at 7.30 tonight.
