Fiji Men’s Basketball aiming to go two better at Pacific Games

The Fiji Men’s Basketball team will be looking to better their performance at this year’s Pacific Games in Honiara, after settling for bronze in Samoa 4 years ago.

They will play Tahiti in their first game at 10am tomorrow.

Fiji’s next game is against Tonga at 6pm Monday, before facing New Caledonia in their last pool match at 4.45pm Tuesday.

Fiji Women’s Basketball captain Mikaela Mendez says the biggest thing is they are together as a team in the Solomon Islands.

The Women’s team will play hosts Solomon Islands tomorrow at 4.45pm then face Samoa at 10am Monday.

They were supposed to play their first game against Guam at 3pm today but it has been postponed to 12.15pm Sunday, as the Guam team have not arrived in Honiara.
