An exciting day for the Fiji Master Women Va'a Team after being sponsored by Bula Outsourcing as they look forward to the 2023 IVF World Distance Championships in Samoa next Wednesday.

While receiving the sponsorship, Sara Pene from Team Fiji says they have prepared well for the event and have high hopes of winning against some of the best teams that will be participating.

Pene says it's appropriate to have the sponsorship from Bula Outsourcing because they are a locally owned women-led company, which she thinks embodies the female empowerment message that she hopes to come across every sport in empowering everyone.

She says they facing teams from countries like Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, the Cook Islands, the USA and Germany.

She adds they will be doing their best and fighting for every inch of that 24 kilometres.

The Fiji Masters Women V6 Crew consists of Alita Loki, Jackie Tabua, Leeanne Lee, Loreta St Julian, Selita Koroi and Sarah Pene.
