Fiji FA to apply for football to resume behind closed doors

The Fiji Football Association confirms all registered footballers around the country have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 48 percent are now fully vaccinated.

CEO, Mohammed Yusuf says they anticipate 70 percent of the registered players to be fully vaccinated by the end of this month.

Yusuf also confirms they will soon be applying for football to resume behind closed doors from early October.

He says they are preparing back to play and COVID safe protocols and are working with the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport.
