Fiji Crop and Livestock Council is conducting a farm survey to assess the impacts of COVID-19 on farmers livelihoods and update their profiles in the database.

CEO, Jiu Daunivalu says more than thousand Fijian farmers registered with them have have been contacted by the council to participate in a farm survey.

She says with the COVID safe measures and five month closure of borders, they have been unable to conduct face to face interviews with the farmers.

She says they are facing additional challenge in conducting the survey, as most of the farmers have changed their contact numbers.

Farmers can call for assistance on 9991738, 9992410 or 9927868.
