The Fiji Chinese Association has donated $15,000 towards the government's relief effort for those people who have been severely affected by Tropical Cyclones Yasa and Ana.

Association’s President, Jenny Seeto says they came up with the idea to assist Fijians as they saw thousands of families were badly affected by the cyclones.

Seeto says the Chinese community in Fiji got together and collected the funds and are thankful to other organisations for their donations.

She adds this donation will ensure those affected are provided assistance that will enable them to rebuild their lives.
