The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side will leave for the United Kingdom this Saturday and according to Coach Ben Gollings they will be taking 16 players for the Commonwealth Games.
He says they have selected 16 players but the 13 players who will take Fiji’s banner to the Games will be announced today.
Gollings says they are taking additional players because they are mindful that some players might be injured during the competition and they have the players to substitute them.
He adds preparations have been going well and it was tough to select the final 13 players.
The Commonwealth Games 7s competition will take place from 30th July to 1st August.
