Fiji men’s 7s team coach Gareth Baber says they are relaxed and focused ahead of their opening game against Japan in the Olympic Games 7s competition this afternoon.
Baber says they know that every team considers a match against Fiji as a World Cup or Olympic final.
He says they have six finals to win before they can reach their aim of winning gold.
The men’s Olympic 7s competition runs from today until Wednesday.
Fiji will begin their defence of the Olympic gold medal against Japan at 12pm today and then play Canada at 8pm today.
The national side will play Great Britain at 12.30pm tomorrow.
