Female vendors are selling food along pavements with no proper restroom facilities in Lautoka will soon be able to grow their micro, small and medium enterprises after the construction of Namoli Green Night Food Market.

Minister for Local Government, Premila Kumar the Government has implemented programs to help MSME vendors access services that they need.

She says the government has put in place strategies to support women in business and under the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism, and Transport, vendors can also access funding, mentoring, and training.

Kumar says this will not only assist vendors in making a decent living, but it will also generate revenue for the Lautoka City Council.
