A father and daughter duo, have enrolled for undergraduate studies at The University of the South Pacific.

47-year-old Ratu Soqosoqo says he could not start the Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration and Human Resource Management unit because he was not able to secure funding for semester 2 as he had failed a unit in semester one.

He adds that finances could not allow him to complete his studies and needed to work and put his academic journey on hold for some time.

He says it is a proud moment for them to pursue a degree together.

Bulou Soqosoqo says she is not nervous about going to the university, as she has her dad to help her.

She says it is encouraging to see that her father is not giving up on completing his studies.

She adds, she looks forward to pursuing her degree in Computing and Security Programming.
