Sister in Charge Aliti Rasiga thanking Leadership Fiji's Team Tagimoucia for their assistance to Father Law Home

Residents and staff of the Father Law Home were very grateful today as they received a timely donation of a 12kg Automatic Washing Machine for Father’s Day.

Sister in Charge Aliti Rasiga was very thankful to Leadership Fiji, Team Tagimoucia saying that doing laundry is a heavy job that they do every day.

Mariana Cama, who does the laundry for the Home, says it is not easy washing by hand, as they wash twice a day, in the morning and afternoons.

Cama says with this washing machine it will make her work easier.

Team Tagimoucia Representative, Kartik Pratap says it is a double celebration for them as they celebrated International Day of Charity yesterday with a Blood Drive, and Father’s Day today at the Home, which was in need of a washing machine.

Pratap says their donation is a very small token of their appreciation for the hard work they do at Father Law Home.

He hopes their donation will be able to make a difference to the work that Sister Rasiga and her team does in looking after the residents.
