Farmers in the Northern division can expect improved service delivery from the Ministry of Agriculture in the near future.
This was revealed by the Minister for Agriculture, Rural and Maritime Development Dr Mahendra Reddy during his recent visit to the Northern division.
Reddy says some of the things farmers can expect from the Ministry of Agriculture in the near future is better and improved service by the officers on the ground.
He also assured enhanced visibility of Ministry officials on the ground to provide continuous support and assistance to farmers.
Reddy also explained that the focus areas in the Northern Division would generally centre on the expansion and growth of the agricultural sector and food security.
