The body of a 35-year-old farmer was discovered in Vatia waters in Tavua yesterday.
Police say the discovery was made by a group of divers.
The victim is from Matacawa in Tavua and he was last seen leaving his home to fish in nearby waters.
Police say a post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death as investigations continue.
